Three characters, three food producers who think in a different way, three stories of "heretics", to describe Langhe, a unique territory, universally recognized as one of the most beautiful places in Italy, fresh candidate for Unesco World Heritage. Nevertheless, urbanization, overbuilding, abandonment of the less profitable areas and economic development risk to transform Langhe in just another piece of what in “Langhe Doc” Giorgio Bocca calls the “Italy of warehouses” Those of Maria Theresa, Silvio and Mauro are stories of people who have seen a future they did not like and have refused it.
