Unlike most horror movies, Jeff Scott Taylor's arthouse zombie flick "1158" combines references to 1940's film noir with experimental animation techniques, live footage, and with a mere sprinkling of gore. Rather than focusing on tits and carnage, his non-linear story follows 2 lovers fleeing disaster as they first lose their carefully constructed modern identities, and secondly, their humanity.
